This was a really easy project that I made for my mudroom that has been awesome for hanging lots of coats during our crappy Michigan winters. I searched for something to buy but nothing was big enough and everything to was too expensive. Project time!
I found a piece of wood in my basement that the builders had left over from our kitchen cabinets, but you could use any kind of wood cut to any length. I bought 8 single coat hooks and screwed them into the wood, and also screwed in 8 small hooks for keys. To attach to the wall, I drilled 3 countersink holes into the wood, used anchors, and filled the holes with button top wood plugs. The frames were from Michaels. And that’s it! Easy peasy 🙂
